The cult has discovered your lineage, they’re attempting to bring you “home”. They’re trying not to tip you off by sort of complying with your requests. The taxi is being driven by a deep one, or someone who is close to transforming.
That’s assuming far too much active interest on Dread Cthulhu’s part in what happens to this insect.

Now I’m just confused.
Drug smugglers have figured out ways to not only hide drugs inside statues, but to actually make drugs INTO statues. I remember reading about some Columbian drug gang that figured out a way to embed cocaine in a plastic in a manner that could be chemically separated once smuggled across the border. They were sending shipments of religious statues made out of cocaine. So I suppose that Cthulu statue could actually be 30% coke.
Most probably some Lovecraftian horror story / character reference.

It’s available as an STL that prints in resin quite well. I had to hollow the base and add a drain hole, but now I am very pleased with the doom I have brought upon myself.
Excuse me, what’s STL?
Slower Than Light. It means you don’t have to worry about your prints emitting Cherenkov radiation and possibly going back in time.
Except if you print a Cthulu, then those kinds of errors happen spontaneously.
