There’s an anime that kind of flips this around. Instead of an everyman who can use magic, the protagonist is someone born in the royal family but can’t use magic. Don’t know if this counts.

“If something is silenced, then that must mean it is right” is a pretty bad argument. There are genuinely good reasons to ban something. Being unnecessarily aggressive can be one.
Sure made me care.
And they did, literally destroyed a couple fuel pumps at two gas stations: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2022/apr/28/just-stop-oil-protesters-sabotage-petrol-pumps-on-m25-motorway
Did you hear about that on the news? Did you see this being posted on Lemmy?
Now you know why they have to do what they do.
Speak for yourself. This made me support them.
There is a line somewhere I think. Like people weren’t 100% sure the atomic bomb won’t ignite the atmosphere (it’s only very unlikely), but they still tested it. Similarly the probability of creating micro blackholes at LHC is not zero either, yet they still ran it.
If we have to make sure everything is 100% safe before we can do anything, we will be stuck with the status quo.
IIRC these are words from the man himself. In a documentary about him, he said he was not a hero, just an ordinary guy, and you should not need to be a hero to stand up and do the right thing.
You are the victim of YouTube scam channels pretending to be SpaceX…
SpaceX no longer streams on YouTube anymore, so anything you see will be fake.
It’s also disappointing YouTube is so bad at catching these. During IFT4 that was literally the most watched stream, had more viewers than Everyday Astronaut for example.
I am not playing so I don’t have to follow the rules!
They probably aren’t looking for the factual information, perhaps more the logical thinking abilities.
I always felt Google is just a collection of startups each doing their own thing, and they live and die like startups, too. There’s barely any overall strategy, and whenever they actually try to do something strategic, the result sucks (e.g. G+)
I think you mean std::move
That was you! I remember this.
How do you know if the liquid water is comfortable? Did you ask it?
Wait, what? Chemtrail is real?!?!
Call to action from, say, activist groups is very different from call to action from a billion-dollar company. This does make me really worried about how much influencer TikTok has on people ngl
You have a misunderstanding of how China’s government operates. It does not matter how much stake the government holds, companies just cannot say no to the government’s request. Otherwise you will be disappeared. See Alibaba for example.
Remember, China does not have a democracy.
This is our generation’s lead
