twitter has always been very confusing with this.

it’s basically like a forum chain, where each reply is added over the top of the last, except the chain is upside down after the top level comment. so when you quote someone theit post will be below your post, if someone then quotes that post your new text will be placed below the first quote. at the bottom of the tweet. so it stacks new quotes at the bottom with indentation. so the top is always the newest. the bottom is the second newest, then follow the chain up from there.

it’s a terrible system that is unnecessarily complicated and difficult to read.

For a human-supporting craft, absolutely. From what I understand, these craft weigh less than a kilogram, so you can accelerate them much faster.

At first, I thought this would be like Project Orion (“nuke”-powered rockets), as Dyson’s math back in 1968 expected one version to reach Alpha Centauri within 133 years

Though nanocraft being pushed by lasers sound interesting, braking remains a problem. Still, if they can prove the concept with a much shorter trip somewhere in our solar system, I’ll be anxiously waiting for their next move.

    Thrifting is ruined

Music and movies are getting worse

    Romance is dead

    Authenticity is dying

Dude no, you’re just depressed. Go outside.

i’m genuinely curious about the “thrifting is ruined” thing, wh… what is that based on? Is that a regional thing or did they just completely make it up? Because here in sweden thrifting is on the rise and the major issue with it is just not finding stuff you want.

prices increase sometimes to a point unheard of in thrifting. Although I wouldn’t say its ruined, maybe just worse but that’s because all of the primemark clothes are starting to roll in ROFL.

As the great poet and wordsmith Sir Brian May sayeth: “Fat bottomed girls make the rockin’ world go 'round.”
