Can both air fry, bake, toast, etc. and there’s multiple large racks. The ninja foodi. It’s a bit pricey though so you may want a slightly different version
minus-squarejackeryjoo@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up7·4 days agoThat’s all an air fryer really is. It just lifts the material up into a basket so it can circulate air quickly around it to “fry” it with air. Otherwise it’s almost identical to a convection setting on an oven.

It’s the same thing as a convection oven, what’s the big deal? Well it’s the same just like how a quadcopter drone is the same thing as a RC dual rotor helicopter It’s like yeah they’re the same thing, but they have some important differences too.

minus-squarebiggerbogboy@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up1·4 days agoOnly really in name (convection oven), other than that, it basically just cycles hot air around the inside, cooking faster and more even than ordinary ovens.
minus-squareboonhet@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·4 days agoIs that different from an oven with air circulation?

minus-squarebiggerbogboy@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up2·4 days agoI got no clue, its probably not that different in that aspect at least.
minus-squarebobs_monkey@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up2·5 days agoInteresting, I have to bowl-like version and I wish I knew that was a thing beforehand.
