They’re not endorsing her because they think she’s conservative. They’re endorsing her because they know Trump is on his last leg and they are trying to distance themselves from him.
Immediately after the election settles, they will start criticizing everything Harris does again while trying to build up their version of the Republican party. They’re looking to reboot it without Trump, and this is the way to do it.
I don’t see it as them endorsing her because they see her as a conservative. I see it as them endorsing her and later retreating to the Democratic party because right now it’s the only party that seems rational for both sides. Let’s be honest the Democrats are more Neoliberal than Democrat. To me, that shift is inching more and more to the right. It feels like setting the stage for a democratic party that is becoming the original ‘reasonable’ conservative values.

That’s great news. Dems are conservative. If Repubs transition away from the racist fascism and theocracy party and join a regular conservative party then we might be able to have an actual progressive party.
