Reformist candidate Masoud Pezeshkian has won Iran’s presidential election, Iranian state news agency Press TV reported Saturday citing the country’s election headquarters, beating his hardline rival in a pivotal vote at a time of tensions at home and abroad.
Does anyone know anything about this guy? All the article gave me is that he’s in favour of something being reformed in some way.
All I know is that he pointed out in the presidential debate that the Quaran says nothing about hajabs or the proper way of wearing them. Sounds like a good first step.
Although, half of the county didn’t vote, because they know that the person in charge of everything important is the Supreme Leader.
