If you are serious about your second point you deserve your first. The last one is just hilarious.

What would be the problem with bottle caps being attached to the bottle?
For now. Maybe. But look at Prime Video, that offered services for Amazon Prime Customers. Then put stuff behind paid “channels”. Then started adding Ads to the start of a movie or episode. And it will water it down even further. Or Spotify that had ads every few songs. Then 2 ads. Then 2 very long ads. Then more ad breaks. Then You bought premium because the ads got more and more annoying. Now you are ad free. Except all the banners. Except the paid promoted Releases that get pushed in all the popular Playlists. Except ads during podcasts. Except “AI shuffle” that mixes in promoted songs.
The same will happen to YT Premium. Bit by bit ads will be smuggled in. I mean… right now they promote “Premium light” after (what I’ve found for European prices) raising prices for premium and family tiers.
But it acts as a Login for the page instead of registering a new account? How would Google do that without the page owners permission?!
It was exactly that. The stupid thing is: I usually shut down my Mac at the end of my workday and on the next day and start everything I need via script and always got funny looks from my co-workers because “you can just close it and keep it running” so I tried it a few days and honestly did not think about restarting because it would have been a fresh start before.
But now I know there’s a tmux server running that I can kill when problems occur and I won’t need to reboot Everytime tmux starts acting funny. So at least I learned from being dumb and not thinking about basic trouble shooting steps…
I got the JetBrainsMonon Nerdfont. It was annorphan process of tmux still running after all configs and tmux itself was uninstalled.
That was actually a good tip!
Yeah I could try that, I just try to stick to one source if possible. I’ll give it a try if no other solution come up.
All we need are swap stations and cars that can be battery swapped.
The word is ‘atheist’, you got the e and i mixed up.
I have not acted like an asshole, I have just pointed out facts, while the other called religion cancer. How am I the supposed asshole? Not giving in to bad arguments is not “acting like an asshole.”
I also do not view anyone beneath me, that’s a mean insinuation and most likely the beginning of a fabulous strawman.
insert themselves in academia where they don’t belong
What would that be an what does that have to do with anything I wrote?
I hate both religous people and athiests
Hating people is a bad thing.
It’s not about switching, it’s about hosting our services on different platforms at the same time.
It’s perfectly fine for some private page etc. but when you make business software for customers that require 99,9% uptime with severe contractual penalties it’s probably too wonky.
We got our own platform based on kubernetes and cncf stuff and we don’t have to care anymore about the metal underneath. AWS? OTC? Azure? Thats just a target parameter, platform does the rest. It’s great.
A better inner-life is possible without intermixing it with intangible hocus pocus. Calling something “spiritual” or retracting to it beeing “culture” is often used as protection against criticism and I see you do it here. Something can be culture and still be criticized or called out for what it actually is. Slavery has been part of pretty much every culture at some point. Would you call me arrogant when I say it’s still inhumane and criminal behaviour? And thats what I do. It’s been culture for centuries, but all the time, it was also “taking drugs, feeling like beeing part of something bigger charged with magical thinking”.
edit: All you say about spirituality can be said about religion. It helps people and gives them purpose and has been culture for thousands of years. Yet, you say
religion is a cancer
Isn’t that way more disrespectful, dismissive and arrogant that what I am doing? Whats your measure here?
Spirituality, even more than religion, is some broadly used word for all kinds of stuff like healing crystals, zodiac signs etc. A sense of belonging can come from many things, that doesn’t make it true or good per se. What you are describing is drug use. Spirituality may sound better for you, but it’s just bullshit for drug use. I’m not judging, but it is what it is.
Two piles of the same bullshit.
When you handle all your errs the same way, I’d say you’re doing something wrong. You can build some pretty strong err trace wrapping errs. I also think it’s more readable than the average try catch block.
Every shooter that allows custom maps from the late 90s and early 00s has a map resembling Columbine. If your reason to not make a game is because someone might turn it into something horrible, there would probably be no games.
