That’s a pretty good use case with the router - I’m gonna try that

It’s a little laggy and not mobile optimized, so it wouldn’t be the vest choice for a smartphone
Yes
You’re welcome : )
Oh that’d be really cool
Hahah yeah whatever that is
Hi
I started self hosting 3 years ago when I got wind of tailscale. I’ve always cared about privacy and building things so that was great.
My infrastructure consists of two machines.
One - my personal and work server A deskmini i3 12th gen
256GB Boot drive 4TB NVME data drive
-photoprism -syncthing -nextcloud -Firefox+VPN -archivebox
Two - my media server that I let 6ish other people access - PC tower i3 12th gen
512GB Boot and docker config file drive 4*4TB HDD mergerfs for raw data
-jellyfin -*arr suite -gluetun VPN -audiobookshelf (also for auto downloading podcasts) -calibre-web
They could use the Euro Bottle or NRW Bottle refill glass bottles, that a lot of European countries ate using. They’re being refilled 12 times on average.
Feels like that’s how a lot of wealthy people/organizations operate
Hahhaha
You couldn’t make this stuff up
That is a good point.
What about a double window, one EU and one US
Honestly, I think the verti slide windows make for a better breeze infrastructure than the tilt windows , because the tilt windows can be force shut by sudden strong winds.
And in the summer when I need a strong breeze at night and have to fully open the windows, I have to hold them open with a chair or something because they will slam-shut in the middle of the night.
I complain a lot about silly american building stuff but in the case of breezes, I think the verti slide is superior.
Also, they’re more adjustable. Euro windows can do tilt or open, but the vertical slide windows have a range.
This is so lit
The schuko plug is an even better implementation of that system because it’s symmetryic plug allows for more flexibility.
I absolutely second this
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schuko
I’ve used many plugs and in my opinion, the schuko plug is the one that makes the most sense.
Reverse Polarity (can’t use it the wrong way, and you can turn it in case some power adapted is in the way)
also the symmetry makes it look more pleasing
only 2 pins stick out (the ground is in the body, 2 pins are a reduced area of failure in case you drop it.
very good and secure fit
I just read that tailscale and mullvad offer a joint service where traffic outside your tailnet always exits through mullvad
