At that price you could get the next fairphone with the US markup.

A vast majority of small devices fail sometime in the first 10 years they are made. Some are designed that way, some are used heavily and broken after a while, some will stick around until their battery becomes a spicy pillow. Lithium will eventually stop working so no matter what, that small device that you cant replace the battery WILL die.
But some devices have parts that are repairable and they tend to stick around.
Itch.io Has some fantastic games :)
One of my favorite (that works on the SP!): https://tangramgames.itch.io/tobu-tobu-girl-deluxe
My wife and I still have all three of these systems. All three still work. They are still fun.

You can put other OSs on the fairphone instead of their defaults.
But yeah it’s frustrating no matter what there is a downside of just owning a stupid phone.

It’s so silly, we are going back around.

If they just made replaceable batteries, this wouldn’t be an issue. My next phone is going to be the fairphone.

I’ve had meshtastic for about 2 ish years now and its still being worked on.

For example, where I am at, I have only met one other person in real life that has one. But I do hear about a lot of my friends on the east coast having them. Dunno.
The music and presentation is fantastic. The amount of filler…is a hit or miss. Combat is fine I guess, personally I would have loved a mode that would allow you to go full retro RPG, but I understand theres only so much you can do.
This is actually the second game breaking glitch I found with this particular game. The first is during a cutscene between cloud and Sepheroth. If you let it play out, the game crashes with a big “ERROR” and ok button. Then closes the game. I had to go online and find out how to fix that (just skip the scene and the error does not pop up).
