For some reason I imagine Caleb Hammer screaming a response to this.

I mean, he’s said before that shitty code doesn’t make for a good or bad game. He gave examples of lots of successful games that have “bad” code and that it doesn’t matter and people should just make games.
I’m going back to Europe for a few months for a visit. I was looking at other VPNs and they were offering me cheap discounts but I’d have to sign up for 2 years or some shit. Mullvad was very straightforward in their pricing and I was able to generate the VPN config and I have it installed on my travel router really easily.
I think I understand your overall sentiment. Just wanna boot up games and not think about settings, compatibility, framerates and stuff. I know what you mean.

I used to drink ten to eleven cups of tea in the UK per day. I quit caffeine for a while because of the headaches. I somehow never put it together that this drug I keep putting into my system would affect my brain …

As an English “whose-a-ma-whats-it”, I feel like a lot of us don’t care much for the monarchy as well. I don’t speak for all obviously. Many of my friends need to keep up with Royal Family drama for some reason.

My opinion is statistically insignificant.
There’s a plethora of other things I’d give up like have a slighter bigger phone or a worse camera or wireless charging… I’d also trade those for an SD card slot but no one agrees with me and it’s just something I need to live with.
Remember that he’s got the votes though. He’s still got the general election to go through but despite all this hatred … a majority saw through it. Let’s hang onto some hope. The world is so shitty right now.

Yes, yes there’s adapters … yes, yes, you don’t need to use it … I understand. I just want it.

I don’t think I really understood the compilation portion.
Compiling in the web world can also include … type checking which I think is good, minifying code which is good, bundling code which is good. I understand that in this article that they allude to the fact that those can be bad things because devs just abuse it like expecting JavaScript to tree shake and since they don’t understand how tree-shaking works, they will just assume it does and accidentally bloat their output.
Also some static site generators could do things that authors and stuff don’t think about like accessibility and all that.

I’m going to use slightly more words than you but she’s a modern day conservative: Her special circumstances are “okay” however other peoples are not. She should be protected, others should not.
