I was pretty surprised by the price Disco Elysium is going for.
And nothing of value was lost…
Somehow reminds me of the anime Mushi-Shi.
All of that and Custom DNS? Sounds like a pet project with scope issues.
I get the sarcasm, but isn’t that exactly what E-Paper tablets are really good at?
Microsoft: But how am I supposed to know you don’t want cookies without storing 29 cookies on your device?
I’ve settled on Fast Draw. You get to use exactly one widget, but it’s lightweight and lets me launch apps.
One Friday afternoon, Gary called the engineering staff together and announced that he would give them all a raise over the weekend. On Monday, when they returned to work, contractors began raising the building to make room in the basement for a new Digital Equipment Corporation VAX 11/750 computer system. After several weeks, supported by heavy wooden beams and house jacks, the engineers’ desks were five feet higher.
I’d have loved to work for him!
Easy! Just sleep faster!
While I can fully understand his pain, I can’t quite follow how adding a paid subscription model will make his life easier (except financially).

The EU is a relatively large market, and it wouldn’t make economic sense to develop and produce EU-specific devices. I’m pretty sure you’ll also be seeing replaceable batteries.
After I printed a thing I was able to reconnect wireless about five-six hours later.
Thanks for all your suggestions! My working theory is that either the electronics are dying or a connectivity issue, that the device is trying to connect to an update server or whatever.
The former would be a poor show for a device with just 500h of usage, and the latter would be really really bad programming. Either way, it’s a problem with a relatively easy workaround!
Well, my handwriting is an unnatural abomination. Maybe I should try switching hands?
I use KoReader, which is available for several different devices. It has a WebDav plugin, which I pointed to my NextCloud instance.
Whenever I encounter something on my tablet, laptop or phone, I upload it to NextCloud and can access it at my leisure.
If you haven’t published a few papers then your preference in acronyms is irrelevant.
AI comprises everything from pattern recognition like OCR and speech recognition to the complex transformers we know now. All of these are specialized in that they can only accomplish a single task. Such as recognizing graffiti or generating graffiti. AGI, artificial general intelligence, would be flexible enough to do all the things and is currently considered the holy grail of ai.
They were being dicks even in the 80s. I remember the Russian Woodpecker. My father was a amateur radio operator and there were whole frequency bands that were unusable because of that prat-prat-prat-prat.
