Nah, the 1.4ghz g4 Mac mini is better. It’s old enough that you can get it to boot OS 9 without emulation. I have mine running stuff as far back as system 7. In my experience, sheep shaver is super buggy and doesn’t work with most old games. The m class machines are so much faster it’s insane. My handbrake encodes got 4-5x faster going from an i9 octo core to an m3 ultra. I saw some speed ups on tasks got from 90 seconds to 5. The fans rarely come on. It’s great!
