I get what you’re saying, and definitely to each their own.
In this case I felt like it was people trying to spotlight queer history rather than the regular hetero stories we see all around us every day, and I think that is definitely meaningful.
I was in Edinburgh early june last year on honeymoon and me and my wife went to a special queer edition of the St Mary’s close tour for pride :) . It was so fun and the tour guide was just so lovely!!
Anyway at the end of the tour she told us that where the regular tours basically sell out every day, the they’ve never sold out a single timeslot for the pride edition in the years that they’ve been offering it.
She was really happy we (8 visitors on a max group size of 20) were there at all. Definitely made me a little sad to hear.
So yeah I’m happy to see this, the city definitely could use more gay shit

Work is tough atm.
Ordered some books by / about enbies, really excited for those! My first time reading something other than fantasy/scifi in ages, so we’ll see how that goes.

Had a nice chill easter weekend. Things are okay, but I feel anxious.
Last week one of my best friends told me he thought I didn’t really want to see him anymore because I don’t seem to enjoy his company as much recently. I was absolutely shook but luckily I quickly realised the issue which is that I’ve been getting complacent in our friendship.
Tbh I have to do most of the work in a lot of my friendships and I’ve been really tired and this is my one friend that actually does a lot of the emotional work himself. Which led me to take that space for granted or at least not show my appreciation. It was definitely a wake up call.
Anyway now I’m planning a bunch of stuff to do together with my bestie so we’ll be grand again in the future :)

Haha yeah I can relate. I broke the joystick really quickly and after a couple years I decided to get something new. Ended up buying a new fidget cube but I kind of hate it. It’s not the same and I need it to be the same 🥲
I’ve always liked my fidget cube, although the original run was a lot better quality than the current ones
Made too many plans, now I’m tired but luckily the weekend is nearly there so I can rest do even more
I spontaneously booked a hairdresser appointment last weekend and really enjoyed getting my hair cut. The differences are quite small but it made me feel euphoric :)

Had a fun weekend.
Yesterday I ordered a bunch of nail products to step up my nail game. I’ve been just doing flat polish with nothing else on it and it was getting boring. Now we’re leveling those babies up with base coats, top coats, glitter and more colours 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
Also feeling less gender dysphoria now that the sun’s out and I can wear more fem things again without freezing to death 💅
Do you have any fav gunlance builds? I’ve started trying it out for wilds and it’s very fun and stable (albeit a little boring at times when your friend is playing something flashy like dual blades or longsword), but I’m not really sure if I’m getting the most out of it.
Ive also picked up insect glaive finally after putting it off for all of worlds and rise, it’s so fun!! Jumping goes brrrr
