Biden can’t be charged for that. But seal team six is still governed by the ucmj. Killing a non combatant for no reason even if the commander in chief gives the order might be a bit of a problem under the ucmj.

There’s also the oath you take when you join the military

“Defend the constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic”. Killing a political opponent might be a bit of a problem when a person actually looks at that oath.

The seal team would probably say no for both of the above reasons. Biden couldn’t be charged but others still can be.

ban them sounds good on it’s face. but it’s a state issue of who is on the ballet.

but here is another problem : while biden couldn’t be prosecuted for issuing the order, would the order hold up in court? you know the thing would go before the supreme court. would it hold up there?

while the bill is a good idea. would it actually pass? i mean think about it. right now the republicans own the court and will own it until the current batch dies. why would they vote for the bill? but on the face of it . it’s a good idea.
