  • Probably not the worst I ever read, but whenever a question such as this comes up my mind immediately goes to one of the Tarot books by Piers Anthony. I don’t remember which one, it was just in a pile of books people left in a dorm one time and I had nothing to read. I finished it, but I can’t tell you anything about it other than the vague recollection that I hated it.

  • National Lampoon’s Senior Trip.

I watched Jeremy Renner’s wired auto complete interview on YouTube and he mentioned that was his first role. So I looked it up and it had 0% on rotten tomatoes. And I thought to myself, it can’t be that bad.

It was pretty bad, maybe not 0% bad, but I found very few redeeming qualities.

    I would not recommend.

If we’re talking about Paul, he’s the result of over ten millennia of a secret breeding program by the bene gesserit (albeit a generation earlier than planned) AND royalty.

I love Dune more than anything outside of Hitchhiker’s Guide, but I don’t think Paul really fits here. He’s double special before the spice.

  • And I think this is the crux of the problem and where most of the hate comes from. You can have a good kaiju movie without Godzilla, but can you have a good Godzilla movie without Godzilla? I would argue that no, you can’t. I would also argue that the monster from that movie wasn’t Godzilla… it was Matthew Broderick. /rimshot

But seriously, a lot less people would have ragged on that movie had they given it a different name, but arguably a lot less people would have seen it if they had given a different name. 🤷

Oh man, my family loved Super Solvers Midnight Rescue! I vividly remember playing that with my older siblings, but our monitor was green and black, no color, so I’d never actually seen it before in color. But the music stuck with me and probably sparked my love for In the Hall of The Mountain King.

Also had Ernie’s magic shapes and colors… which was pretty hard to do when everything is green. What were my parents thinking buying a color matching game without a color monitor?
