Ive recently managed to do this;
Settings> Network & Internet> Hotspot & Tethering> Allow Clients To Use VPN
What I don’t understand though, doesn’t using mullvad automatically set their own DNS?
Stock android is definitely enshitified - but there is still hope with custom os’s
Would flatpak mitigate this?
I’ve also had issues with brave search on mull, whenever it decides It to check if I’m a robot it says that mull is missing a requirement

I can’t answer about exporting data but having just done some research the 2 best options I have found for a privacy focused solution (open source) are either:

For me the bangle seems superior - I’m tempted to get one!
