!Ah, general kenobi!<
That’s my favorite thing about these images. The car is so far back even speeding it should be able to stop
So 99% of people on the road. Even when they are not looking at their phone people don’t understand what a safe following distance is. The amount of times I’ve had to try to explain to my friends that no this is not a safe following distance you are currently less than 2 seconds at your current speed from them is infuriating.
The amount of people who will go around me when I maintaining a four-second following distance because I’m not tailgating the car in front of me is equally infuriating.
How in the actual hell is technology connections not on that list and also why have I not seen it in any of the comments yet
Surprisingly most of the anime with " villainess" in the title are both good and more wholesome focused. Many have relationship aspects but they don’t rely on fanservice. snow white with the red hair is also good in that respect
Just cut them right down the middle. Four slices each person takes one and the last is left to rot. It says share equally not share the entire apple
My last dinner was 12hrs of cooking for a 10min meal. I love slow cooker beef and veggies stew
It actually does help! Many commercial grade dryers have exactly this feature and it does exactly that. You can sometimes find it at brand new laundromats and I can confirm it somehow magically stops them from wrapping into one big old ball
Maybe it’s Placebo but I definitely get much better quality of sleep in the winter time. I keep my room very cold and I have some nice big heavy blankets to keep me warm in the bed. And winter is by far the time of year that I regularly wake up feeling refreshed and not groggy
Yes, talent is oversold and used as an excuse to often HOWEVER there ARE differences in people’s skill level and rate of learning. Especially if learning disabilities are involved.
I really really wanna draw regularly. And i practice regularly have for years. Ive gotten much better than couple years ago me but overall my art still sucks (others confirm not just the usual artist hates own work) and it’s mainly because i have a learning disability that affects my spacial reasoning and ability to visualize shapes.
This may come as a surprise to some people but that makes drawing very difficult, i can’t get proportions correct and I struggle to find shapes. My best drawings are ones that i practically traced the initial outline to get the shapes. AI generated art absolutely makes getting an idea out of my head more accessible. And i can then trace the outline of the ai art and draw the rest myself.
I know people hate it but just blindly saying “anyone can draw just do it bro” is basically just as worthless of an argument that ignores reality
I did this in high school, it was just a basic script that spawned a warning dialog box (the kind thats always on top) that just said you can’t close this, part of the script action was making tge task scheduler check every few seconds if the script was running… If it wasn’t then run it.
Since I was making the task scheduler do the checking it meant even if you tried to task manager force close the script it would just open again in a few seconds, it was not a permanent task it was a temporary one and every opening of the script would reset that task so basically the only way to get rid of it was to restart the computer as that would clear the task.
There is a single standard with no forks, I said not a single one followed. I run my own Matrix Home Server and use it frequently, there are a lot of different clients and there are a good number of them that do run their own features that are not exactly in Spec because one does not yet exist in the official spec. Stickers used to be a good example of that I remember when there were like three different clients Each of which implemented them in a different weird way until the spec finally landed on an implementation.
And even within this back there are some basic features not supported on certain clients and other such problems. I’m just saying it’s not an alternative to Discord and it will never be mainstream because it’s too confusing and frustrating from the perspective of a standard user.
Same concept that made bluesky get popular over mastodon, trying to find anything on Mastodon of interest is a chore because there’s no real Central spot to do everything the very nature of it is that it’s scattered to the winds, there’s also multiple apps available for Mobile on Mastodon Each of which have different layouts, different features, and normal people that just want to be able to find their topic of Interest can’t be bothered to deal with that
Aaaaand this touches on the problem with matrix in general, no standard is properly followed, way too many forks with feature support all over the place
Well, once the service becomes large and popular we could try to find people interested in investing into the platform, then we just need to make sure it stays interesting to more and more investors over time. Should be sustainable, sounds oddly familiar tho but i definitely just made it up rn on my own
If you’re just worried about the possibility of shortages and not being able to get food easily then stock up on things that will last a long time in the freezer, is something that you will regularly use regardless, and won’t break you to buy in bulk.
Even with some of the prices already going up a little bit chicken is a good example, you can go by huge packs of it at Costco for a reasonable price still at the moment and other similar stores, vegetables like broccoli florets tend to hold up decently in the freezer for a little while (4-6months) and there multiple types of bread that deal well with being frozen and then later thawed out if you use bread a lot.
Basically instead of trying to hyper optimize like some type of prepper just look at what you generally go through, evaluate what out of that is something that will last in a freezer for a good amount of time, and then bulk up on it and just continue using your food like you normally would. Worst case scenario you saved tiny bit of money by buying in bulk which usually comes with a slight savings. Best case scenario shortly after your bulk buying price is Skyrocket and you can try and ride it out off of your supplies.
Avoid the toilet paper problem by getting a bidet, I spent money on the nice $300 one it has heated water which I like and now a single pack of toilet paper from Costco is like almost a Year’s worth of toilet paper because I only use it to help dry a little faster than the weird but hair dryer does so i use almost nothing
Just open to trying anything once. Lots of stuff i haven’t tried so don’t know if I’m into it or not. I do know i like eating out both front an back, and occasionally i like watersports (receiving) but otherwise I’d have to try and a partner down to do anything at least once would be neat
It does! It’s worthless! (งツ)ว
Which is also exactly why it will never be popular. People don’t want to have to deal with jumping around instances, dealing with the poor discoverability of the fediverse, etc. Even lemmy has that issue, I’m here because im a linux nerd so there is a decent amount of content i want here found easily but for anything else might as well be worthless.
