Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid make very, very good use of PS1 hardware and the stylistic choices just enhance that. The abstract textures of silent hill make everything look fleshy or rusty. MGS has that cool shadowy look which is perfect for sneaking.
I’m not much of a music person these days, there’s a couple of podcasts and youtube playlists that got me through university.
the thing that offends me most is the price. i remember thinking £80 was a lot for a concert ticket in about 2010
not to body shame or anything, but lara is a super active gymnast/explorer. her feet would be like a ballerina’s, i.e., busted.
so, i don’t claim to understand much in the way of philosophy, but the uncaring nature of the universe is pretty scary to me. you’re right in that the universe itself doesn’t have volition but that’s exactly the point. the universe is uncaring because it’s incapable of it, and that’s what’s frightening. i also have a phobia of being caught in heavy machinery, which i would similarly describe as ‘uncaring’. it’ll rip your arms off or whatever because it doesn’t care nor know that a human is trapped inside.
the best thing is for people like me who just used instagram to lurk it works really well with mastodon or calckey. just follow whoever you like and it’ll show up in your feed no problem
i’ve been an android user for years now and have been using beeper for at least a couple of months. people have been asking for imessage on android for years now and i really don’t know what the issue is. i can understand apple being wary of beeper accessing the imessage server but if they would do it themselves then there wouldn’t be this issue
