So you’re an asshole, using religion as an excuse to berate and bully people, got it.

In medieval times, when you had the flu, the prescription was lots of water. Not to flush your system and keep you hydrated as is modern wisdom, but to balance your humors, which is made-up nonsense.
I could but I’d rather not. With a controller in one hand and a mouse in the other there aren’t many buttons near my fingers, I’d have to let go of one to do some stuff anyway for some functions. Plus it makes UI glyphs flash between keyboard and controller which is irritating.
When playing through games with both shooting and driving (or horseback riding in RDR2) I keep my controller handy and swap between it and mkb. I find I generally prefer walking around with a controller until I need to shoot; I end up using the controller 75% of the time.
I lived in Abbotsford for a while. They have a KKK problem and the churches on every corner throw book burnings. Plus, organized crime drug wars! For a time it was the murder capital in Canada. It looks like a small, boring suburban town but it is a horrible place. The Christian right have all the political power and this is the result.

I remember exploring the Road Rash files as a kid and each bike sound was a single short click that just repeated rapidly. Times have changed.
There’s the odd rumour here and there of a TV series, which is where this series would be better than films if done right. But alas, these these rumours stay rumours.
I just upgraded my cpu in a long time too! Everything that could go wrong, did. I had to flash my bios a few times, straighten some pins, clean out some thermal paste from the socket, but after 3 days I figured it all out and got it working. Getting a build working after lots of problems is so fulfilling, it’s almost worth the years of life I lost from stress.

Fun fact:
In Dutch, two o’s make a long o sound. Dode. “oe” makes the “oo” sound.
The vibraphone wants a word. Lionel Hampton is spinning in his grave.

Yes. Not all of it, just the first 2 seasons. People saying no are forgetting Pike learning something about himself in Discovery is basically his prime motivator throughout SNW. It is a fundamental pillar of his character.
Spock has some important backstory in Disco as well. Good for general star trek edification but not necessary to enjoy spock as a character in SNW.
That’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying you don’t need to be an asshole to disagree. You don’t need to “tear down” beliefs and “not play nice”. Being rude to people for being wrong just makes them dig deeper into being wrong out of defensiveness. It isn’t about edification, it’s about finding an excuse to be mean.
That said, other people’s education is not my responsibility. Taking the time and energy required to correct a random stranger about what shape the earth is isn’t going to change the world but it will take a toll on me. Being wrong doesn’t make them a bad person. Being a jerk to them for believing so does. Believing in a flat earth a symptom of fundamentally flawed reasoning skills that I don’t have the time or energy to deal with. If someone believes the earth is flat, I’ll politely disagree and state my opinion, but ultimately I’ll let them do them. Who cares. I choose my friends, they won’t make the cut.
