Not happening at all, but the only hope for accountability is a massive blue wave in 2026 followed by an immediate impeachment. Even then that’s just early retirement.

I didn’t see a definition of what “supporter” means but based on the trans question I’m guessing these are MAGA. Not to mention the insane level of disconnect between saying, “The Justice system isn’t hard enough on criminals,” but supporting the biggest criminal ever to hold the office of President.
I already know exactly what MAGA cares about and don’t give a fuck. It’s the people inexplicably still “in the middle” that I’d want to hear from.
And they’ll still blame Democrats for everything that goes wrong.
Close call. This could’ve knocked nearly every church off the nonprofit list.

The biggest wrench you can throw in the fascist machine is non-compliance. For it to really matter our law enforcement agencies need to stand by, not just the Constitution, but human decency.
At this point Rapture sounds like one of the better outcomes.
Unless regulation is so loose they basically don’t have to pay a damn thing even when you get sick.
We’ll still have the same health care as we do now. It’ll just be way more expensive and inaccessible to anyone but the rich or party loyalists. Basically “join us or die… slowly.”
That’d be nice and I’m sure sentiment will swing but I don’t think they’d go through all this trouble of remaking the government (and essentially the whole country) just to get “voted out” and have to spend billions more regaining power. It’ll be way cheaper just to rig things.
The only “crisis” is racists and xenophobes getting their testes in a twist about becoming a minority race and maybe having to learn a second language. People traveling hundreds of miles just to come here and commit crimes is a stupid argument for stupid people. The stats also don’t hold up as far as crime goes. They’re much less likely to commit crimes over fear of deportation. And all of the actual drug dealers that enter the country illegally will probably be back in the US in under a month of being deported.
If it wasn’t for The Voice I wouldn’t have seen a single political ad. I recall very few if any YouTube ads, a buttload of Instagram ads, but pretty much every one of them was asking for money. Okay? Money to do what? Buy more ads asking for more money? I’m sure political ads aren’t super effective in changing people’s minds but they do get people start to think about the issues and ways to compare different candidates. Also, the most things I remember about the campaign were when Trump said something crazy and when Kamala responded to Trump saying something crazy. Her entire campaign was pretty much, “You don’t want this other guy do you?” I have voted for very few candidates in my life and this time I definitely voted against Trump.
I don’t know if this kind of thing is captured very well but I wonder how many voted blue for other Federal offices but simply skipped President. I understand the general motivation behind “sending a message” and “leaving this one up to chance” but good Lord.
This is like me refusing to “play chase” with my kid even though he’s running right towards the street. It’s annoying as fuck every time but the consequence of me “refusing to play” could be dire. After I save the little shit for the 10th time I punish him, but in a way that doesn’t kill or cripple him for life.
He’ll carve out an exception for police. They’re his “brown shirts” and he’ll probably authorize them to enforce Federal law.
I’m no economist but I don’t think inflation moves that quickly. The Act was signed in early March and by the end of April we hit inflation levels unseen since 2008. $1.9 trillion was not spent in a month and I’d be surprised if they spent even 25% in a month.
And a year earlier, also in March, Trump signed a $2.2 trillion stimulus bill ($1 trillion of which was basically a handout for businesses). But I’m sure his “brilliant business mind” knew exactly how to spend the money so as to not cause any inflation.
Something tells me he’s not going anywhere.
It’s not the lock, it’s the fact that phones are usually encrypted after a reboot (to oversimplify). As the article says you have extra security measures to protect a freshly booted phone.
I hope that’s taped. He’s definitely threatening someone during that meeting.
No, regular people would be spending more money on health care.
More harassment and attacks => more spending on health and mental care => economic stimulus
The system works! /s
By meeting in person you’re also putting yourself at risk. I don’t even feel safe putting political signs in my yard anymore.
