Hate to say they’ll likely move to BlueSky, but at the very least it would be a good idea to have them make a bridge via Bridgy Fed.
Howdy! Your local Albertan, hoping to get acquainted here with others on Lemmy.ca.
Feel free to connect with me elsewhere here: https://linkstack.lgbt/@binzyboi

I mean, good on there being more options I suppose, but wish they had better values.
Saw they had a candidate in my riding listed on the Elections Canada site the other day and I just can’t help but feel they could be standing for better things.
Gotta love the language here implying he only sees Indigenous people as means to access resources rather than seeing them as normal people whose lives and histories should be respected.
Must be hard simply being a fiscal conservative in the Conservative party right now seeing the social conservatives botching all the good publicity the party could possibly have had left.
The firmware explicitly states it’s for photos only, and I tried my luck using both mp4 and webm formats.
I think you’re misunderstanding, the TV’s firmware literally states that it can only be used for photos. I tried accessing both webm and mp4 to try my luck, but nothing.
Oh! Is Roku something you can get separately? I always thought it was just a built-in OS on newer TVs.
As much as I like them, their prices were insane. I get supporting local, but at that price point? Ouch.
Look, if he just left it at saying that the protests were fine but the encampment was not, that would at least be understandable.
COMPARING IT TO THE FREEDOM CONVOY? BRUH
Genuinely surprised Smith is that low. Like, if it took into account how people nationally felt about Smith I’d see this as expected, but the Angus Reid poll referenced seems to be based on the approval ratings of the premiers by their constituents.
I swear not long back Smith had a 60% approval rating here, which is absurd to think about as expected as it is. Wonder if the podcast surfacing pissed people off.
Cat meows, more at 11
God, why do they feel entitled to our marketplace? Jesus Christ can they just fuck off?
Is that the case? I’ve been hearing a lot about how unreliable the F-35s have been with it being hard to even get them off the ground half the time due to the maintenance needed on them.
I fucking love this guy, the more I hear about him, the more I want to throw my vote for the Greens.
As much as I wish they would ditch May and make him the sole leader of the party, I might concede my gripes and vote for them anyway since he’s just so fucking talented as a person and party leader.
Look up this guy’s portfolio, he walks the walk.
Are you even Canadian? That’s a pretty dense comment to make.
Indigenous people are much more susceptible to homelessness and addictions due to generational trauma that the government has inflicted on them and their communities through residential schools and the Sixties Scoop.
So yeah, sorry for being racist by… reads notes… acknowledging issues that negatively affect other races.
That’s a shame. Genuinely.
For all the crap I give Danielle Smith, and rightfully so, I really enjoyed the idea she pitched of Alberta becoming a hub for the manufacturing of Hydrogen EV vehicles. It’s the exact type of diversification we need in this economy.
Alberta workers are scared about moving from the oil rigs and sands because the work culture here is a lot more about working with your hands rather than working with your brain. That’s not to say Alberta workers are stupid of course, just that a lot of the workers here prefer blue-collar jobs over white-collar ones since that’s what they’re most familiar with.
Hydrogen vehicle production here in Alberta sounded so fucking perfect. It not only diversifies our provincial economy, but also diversifies the EV market by providing options that aren’t Lithium-Ion, which comes with a myriad of concerns for a number of people. In my opinion, this move could have been revolutionary.
I know this doesn’t involve vehicle manufacturing, but regardless this is a bad look for the idea overall.
Fucking good. Trudeau made a campaign promise not to go through with purchasing those F-35 planes to begin with and went ahead with it anyway. The deal should have been off the table to begin with, especially with the shit build quality these things have for the insane price point they have.
All that money could be put towards lifting up our fellow Canadians in homelessness and addictions treatment, especially those who are indigenous.
The comments were deplorable, good thing he’s stepping out of the race.
I do have to wonder though, is this out of actual remorse, or because of back door conversations with the Liberal party to ensure they don’t risk losing a seat?
That’s a high ratio of complaints dismissed.
