It’s worked for Pete. Well spoken people can break through the bullshit, but it takes someone special. I’m not sure if Harris has that, but I think she may.

I saw this when I opened Edge for work this morning. Two worlds in one picture.
If I have a mixed bucket of LEGO bricks and dump it in a pile, do I have a pile of LEGO or LEGOs? The fact that LEGO is plural was revealed to me within the last week, but I don’t know if it’s the same when talking about the individual parts vs ten packs of LEGO. It doesn’t feel right to say that the pile is a pile of 100 LEGO.
The Biden admin has done a lot of good during his term. It’s disingenuous to say Kamala is the one bright spot. Student loan forgiveness is another big one.
You are asking way too much from someone blowing smoke just for the sake of stirring controversy. My guess is the user is both parroting a talking point and doesn’t know what hegemony means.
I’m in a large city in Iowa on the edge of town. If I drive 5 minutes down the road I will see for sure one small Trump sign, one small Harris sign, a farm house with a few Trump signs of various sizes, then another with a few large ones held up with fence posts. That’s places that I know of off the top of my head, but if I drive further I will not see another Harris sign unless I get down town residential. They are disgustingly all over.
Fucking morons endorsing a fucking moron.
Probably the one that would consider pardoning terrorists in the imaginary world where her worthless “campaign” ended in the power to do so.
Me too. I think they should skip the criminal prosecution and just do executions. Good riddance.
Google search for good games and read through various results and see if there’s something you haven’t seen. Or in Steam customize your search for what you’re looking for and crawl through the options. If you get off the front page of Steam the entire catalog is available to filter and search.
I’m in the slow process of replacing devices with HTPCs then I won’t need to cast anything. Unfortunately computers and time don’t grow on trees.
It’s not that the site doesn’t work in FF, it’s that casting the stream from that site to a remote TV in the house is only possible in chromium, at least with my current device setup. If I just watch on my computer, I watch in FF.
I have chromium installed for the sole reason to cast some streams to my remote TVs. Otherwise it stays closed. I tried some work around with FF, but I couldn’t get it to work. It’s only once or twice a week for live sporting events, so I can stomach it.
I guess we’re just going to have to disagree in this one.
Looking at 538, I’m not sure where you’re coming up with these notions. There was one time in the last two months where the gap closed some, but she’s consistently been getting more support and slowly is widening the gap.
Thinking that’s not good enough is valid, but claiming that her campaign has been a bummer where nationally she’s been doing better is wrong. NC and GA have always been a tough battle, and it looks like in GA she has fallen some, it’s all still within about a point and the swings haven’t been significant.
I think your belief that Lemmy is full of self delusion is also bogus and that either your saying that in bad faith or we are just seeing things differently. Other than polling articles, which as established don’t mean a whole lot, I haven’t exactly read a lot of non critical pieces on her, and certainly none that are claiming she doing awesome. Hell, my comment just claimed that her campaign has been gaining more support, which I think it has, but you make it sound like I’m already crowning her or saying she’s crushing it, when I didn’t.
By what measure? As far as I’ve seen her campaign has been gaining more support and the polls (not facts, but the best metric to measure a campaigns success) are going more and more in her favor. If your criticisms are personal disagreements with the campaign, that’s fine, but I don’t think they are representative of the majority.
Do you know how many of those that you linked have had multiple recalls on them? Clearly some are more significant than a malfunctioning backup camera, but one of the reasons the cyber truck story has more bagging on it is because the number of recalls. It’s a larger indicator, imo, or a poorly made product where the others may be one missed QA or engineering issue, not systemic issues.
See, I think of the egg as being possessed by the mother, so it would still be a chicken’s egg to me, but it could simultaneously be a “something else” egg.
