I’m going to bring up Taiwan again, specifically Taipei. Food there is amazing and cheap and I’m honestly shocked that the couple McDonald’s I saw can stay in business. There are restaurants and food stalls every 10 feet. You can get a full meal in a couple minutes (or seconds depending on the stall) for like $2usd even in the touristy areas

Back in the day one of my friends had just the most gigantic glass bong I’ve ever seen. It was too long to smoke and reach the bowl to light by yourself at the same time. Typical use was one person lit, the other person draws, no smoke had reached them yet so the lighter stops, smoker had to empty their lungs then try to clear the whole thing in one go. If there were enough people you could get the bowl going and pass it around the circle fast enough to keep it lit

I didn’t used to refrigerate bread but living in Seattle bread here can mold in like 2 days. It all lives in the fridge now to give it a fighting chance

Now that we have a 12 unit solid steel locker thing in the entryway, yeah. I use it to for like my purse when I get home, we have a locker just for cat treats, one for first aid, all kinds of stuff. Plus we’re poly so various partners can leave overnight supplies here and if they forget anything we can put it in their locker for when they’re over next. It’s really useful

I got a locker from the employee room in a closing bed bath beyond. Thing is perfect for when guests come over, and any partners or regular guests have their own locker picked out

I went in to the doctor’s a year or so ago and one of the things I brought up was foot pain. They looked at my 6in heels and gave me a look, didn’t even have to say anything. I wear heels less often than I want to now 😔 but the pain is gone at least

The flat/lever kind, can get them open first try from either side of a door it’s impressive. He’s way too smart for his own good and I suspect he could work a round style one if it had enough texture on it. The menace certainly gets into everything else in the house

One of my cats knows how to open doors like a fucking velociraptor. We’ve baby locked several of our doors but some things like the bathroom I don’t like fucking around with extra steps when trying to get into at 3am

I’ve never broken a rib but I do have a problem rib that likes to pop out of place sometimes. Usually from coughing but I’ve managed it a couple times from sneezes

I just had surgery a few weeks ago that included robot arms going into my tummy. A few days ago I sneezed for the first time since and immediately screamed in pain. Sneezes are weirdly hard on the body it seems
