Good for you, I guess?
Good for you, I guess?
The debate isn’t even the issue. It’s the fact that we just got a king and he’s saying that we, the people who voted him in, are the only ones that can stop a dictatorship. We’re not - he literally has all of the power to save democracy and isn’t doing jack but campaign on the fall of the US
There’s another post two posts down that may have the info you’re looking for
In another post I challenged them to give one specific thing Biden can/should do to fix this. They couldn’t even come up with one item.
Nice to run into you again, still posting this tired line huh? And you’re lying, because not only did I provide specifics, so did multiple other people (there’s more than just these, I’ve seen a ton). It seems that you might be caught in some sort of personal echo chamber.
Is there a reason you stop responding to people once they provide specifics?
So, what happens when he officially declares mar-a-lago a threat to national security and takes it out? Because before this ruling, he could’ve been imprisoned at the very least. But somehow it’s still the same now, even after this ruling? If that’s the case, then why did the Supreme Court even rule?
Yep, should be free unless you want more firewall features!
Maybe nginx does, but cloudflared does not, as far as I know (since it’s an outbound tunnel). I haven’t ever had to open any ports for cloudflared. However, it obviously requires you to use cloudflare.
I’m not sure that it would fix all of your issues, but you could put some stuff behind a reverse proxy and use something like duckdns to setup dynamic dns.
Has the ruling not fully sunk in for you yet? He could legally find a way to do anything now. He could make it legal and override the ucmj. The hired guns (SEALs or mercs), in this hypothetical, would not say no. Especially not from the commander in chief with new dictator-level powers.
Why should I? I’m not the President of the United States who was just granted dictator-level powers.
Name one thing he couldn’t do.
Personally (and since you’re persistent), I think he should declare Mar-a-lago and Trump a threat to national security. Then, he should personally use marine one to liberate the residence.
Is that specific enough for you?
It’s not our job to solve it, he’s the one that was voted in to figure it out. He’s had four years, now has legal power to do just about anything, and came out with this response?
First off, he’s the one in office, not me. He’s the one we voted to in to fix this and he hasn’t done that. He already campaigned on the fact that we had to prevent a dictatorship in the last election. He’s had four years to figure out what to do. That’s the issue at hand here.
Secondly, he can now legally do anything. So use your creative juices, it’s pretty obvious that he can do something, especially now. Not only was Trump given keys to a dictatorship, Biden was given those same exact keys. It’s time to play hardball.
The only decent keypads I’ve found are z-wave and made by Ring, unfortunately. There’s an HA blueprint for them at the bottom.
No one “needs” reddit.
Perhaps the newer models consume that much (under load), but the older ones are very power efficient - back in the day they ran Windows 8 and only consumed 4.6W @ idle (this is actually the same one I have, except I run HA on it which is probably much more power efficient than Windows 8 would be).
Realistically, for something like this, you probably don’t want to exclusively use the full load numbers to calculate power consumption, rather you want to use the idle+load numbers for your specific use case. Home Assistant barely uses any power even over time (I unfortunately misplaced my kill-a-watt or I’d measure it for you), and the NUC barely feels warm.
Nonetheless, you can disable a bunch of the GPU stuff in the BIOS if you’re concerned about power consumption. The article I linked above explains the settings a bit. These were meant to be the middle ground between a thin client and full PC, so it wouldn’t be surprising if their maximum wattage & TDP was much higher than a Pi; but that doesn’t necessarily mean a higher power bill or more heat.
Lastly, I mostly meant that this would be a good alternative to the device in the article, which would need a beefier power supply than the NUC. This shop listing says that its TDP is 60W, so just looking at raw numbers the NUC runs much cooler.
No one deserves fascism.
Biden has the power to do something now, but instead he’s using it to campaign. What good will voting him in do if he’s just gunna sit on his hands and do nothing? That has little to do with him being old. Not saying that I won’t vote for him, but it’s understandable to be frustrated, and people definitely don’t deserve fascism for that.
Biden literally has the power to do something now, but is instead using this to campaign? Infuriating, we got you in office already, to protect against this exact thing from happening. Stop sitting on your ass and do something if you want the American public to forget the debate.
I’m not sure I trust anyone who labels themselves a “top Biden ally” to be honest. They definitely couldn’t be biased in any way, right?
Trump is legit about to have those powers, and the only way to get that to not happen is for Biden to do something first. He will lose the public’s vote if he doesn’t (and he won’t, so he’ll send us straight into the Trump Kingdom). The time to play hardball with these scumbags was long ago, and he’s still using the kid gloves.
The GOP won’t use kid gloves next year.
