Downvote me all you want but I actually liked the Surface Phones.

They were well built, I could multitask nicely, the thin bumpers were nice, it wasn’t overly gimmicky. I preferred the divider between the screens.

Downsides…not a flagship in any specs. Also terminated.

I currently use Vivaldi but I guess I was getting the impression that using chromium in any form was a no-no.

Sadly it seems to be a JavaScript or CSS engine issue :(

What do you use? I struggle to not have at least one chromium variant installed for work purposes - I feel like half my jobs’ apps or sites don’t work in Firefox.

To be fair, the US has been behind the rest of the world in most things for quite awhile.

What they want is total control and fear-based loyalty.

A lot of us aren’t, millions and millions in fact, but the media refuses to cover any of it because it helps keep us isolated, uninspired, unmotivated.

I live in a pretty small town so you end up getting the same drivers sometimes and then sometimes you see them around town…so in my case it is probably less weird. I guess this wouldn’t really work in a bigger area.

This is why on the rare occasion I even use these services, I get their contact info and just pay them directly in the future.

Look, sometimes I need a driver. Maybe I drank too much at a bar, maybe I’m coming back from the airport, I don’t know. But I’ll gladly pay extra to an individual knowing that they don’t have to pay a corporation.
