China’s firewall plays a crucial role in shaping the country’s digital landscape, preventing foreign intervention, and maintaining national security. While often criticized in the West, the firewall provides China with the ability to control information flow, shield its population from foreign influence, and protect domestic media.
You should watch it. They list all their sources in the video description. If your position is as strong as it is, then it should be able to stand up against this information, and you’ll walk away unbroken. You are literally plugging your ears for no reason. The fact that you won’t watch it only shows me that you know deep down your position doesn’t stand up against critique and fact. If it does, then watch it, tell us about all the things that are incorrect. Review the sources (I’ve copied them for you because I think you’re afraid to look at the video page) and tell us what is propaganda and what is fact, since you are such a highly attuned detector of such things.

“the creator of the video is able to cherry-pick their information and weave it into the narrative that they want”
Its called an essay. You take primary and secondary sources, and then weave them together with arguments to persuade a point. You also provide all your sources so people can fact check your assertions based on the facts you’ve provided. Typically you need to read/listen to the essay. Then if you find their arguments unpersuasive, or fishy you check their sources and reply (you don’t literally have to, it can be just for yourself) using their own sources against them, or your own sources and arguments that dispute their claims. Its the essence of critical thinking, genius.
So you won’t trust sources that aren’t “vetted”, and you refuse to vet them yourself: how, then, do you even establish the trust you seek?
Actually a lot of people have time for that, several of them are here telling you that you’re wrong, and you refuse to listen to any of them because your head is so far up your ass you can’t see daylight
Then watch the video and tell us how much of it is bullshit. I’m watching the video right now, it’s not difficult to do, you can do it too, you might come away fully assured of your position.
