Did you forget about the election?

Immigrants from Springfield, Ohio are eating cats and dogs.

And now Trump is moving for mass deportations.

The good news is that Trump is ignorant and bad at his job. I dunno how long it’d take to setup detention camps for immigrants but it’s definitely coming.

I’d say that any Hispanic or Latino, even Puerto Ricans, are at risk. Depending on which state you are in. Arizona is known to throw out US Citizens for deportation if the sheriff thinks you look funny.

To be fair, I do believe he is specifically talking about illegal immigrants and they’re supposed to get deported.

Oh yes, I’m absolutely with you on this one, ONLY illegals, that’s what he means.

Now, about the definition of the word illegal

Trump is doing away with birthright citizenship which is enshrined in the 14th amendment. “Illegal” is whatever Trump will deem it to be.

To play devil’s advocate, he specifically means those who were born to foreign people staying in the US illegally.

The 14th amendment is very clear on this, and has been upheld by the Supreme Court on many occasions.

Unless you are the child of a a diplomat or an invading soldier you are awarded citizenship if you are born under the jurisdiction of a state I.E. US soil. Illegal immigrants are still under US jurisdiction and their children are awarded citizenship as a result.
