I heard Tuta/Mullvad are quantum-resistant end-to-end encrypted and that Mullvad VPN is better at avoiding trigging captcha.
While Proton services are hosted in Switzerland which has the strongest privacy laws in the world and avoids the surveillance of NATO.
I use both, Tuta is clunky but encrypts all email metadata at rest, proton does not encrypt metadata (to, from, subject).
Mullvad is great, it’s been great at avoiding the youtube “are you a bot” shenanigans they are rolling out (if you use the socks5 proxy for youtube).
