I wish I had a way to permanently disable that mic. Why the fuck is that even there? Do console players use these?! All it does is yank priority from my actual mic if I plug it in to charge.
Almost every game that uses the speaker is even more annoying.
The exceptions being the Astro Bot games, because the sounds tie in to the haptic feedback.
Sony does hardware features well pretty much across the board. It completely changes the experience without dominating it.
Third parties seem to either halfass it or ignore it.
