    I think the biggest issue is they didn’t have support of congress. Senate was nominally democratic controlled, as was the house.

    Enough that they could have presumably handed a contingent election to Biden. In such an election, each state gets one vote (state delegation, not individual reps,) and it takes 26 states to win- trump would have had an advantage because republicans control more states even though dems controlled the house.

    I don’t think people realize how close we came to the election being stolen then.
