    This has nothing to do with worker safety, or loss prevention. This is to basically spy on their employees.

      These are going to be put on all employees. Then the footage will be run through an AI algorithm to search for keywords like “union,” “organize,” etc.

        Hmmmmmmm, so what you’re saying is, if a walmart employee is pissing me off, I should just start asking him what they think of the “union organize target wage increase fuck this job easy to steal”

          Sure. But I have a hard time seeing what an employee could possibly do, that wouldn’t warrant calling the police, that would justify being a class traitor.

    Dystopian maybe, but as crazy as people have become I’ve been wondering if there’s a less-than-obvious one any rando can purchase and wear.

    Much like there’s no fucking way I’d drive without a front and rear dashcam - because mine have saved me in not one, not two, but THREE different incidents and quite literally saved me five-figures in costs, at the very least - I’m kinda wondering if it makes sense to have bodycam footage the next time a Karen decides to have a crazy fit and I’m close enough that it could become my problem.
